Práctica 1
En parejas: Tell your partner the following numbers in Spanish. He or she will write them using numerals, not words (ex. 6, not seis). Then, check your partner's work.
1. The phone number used to dial for emergencies
2. The number of months until your next birthday
3. The number of minutes it takes you to get home from school
4. Your house or apartment number
5. The room number for your first period class
Today we will learn the colors in Spanish. Take a few minutes to add the vocabulary to your interactive notebook.

- If you want to refer to a dark or bold color, you can use the word “oscuro” after the color. For example:
Verde oscuro — Dark green
Rojo oscuro —Dark red
If you want to refer to a light color, you must use the word "claro", except for the color blue, since the way to say "light blue" is azul cielo or "sky blue" in Spanish is: "Celeste".
Verde claro — Light green
- Colors are adjectives and so they need to agree in gender and/or in number with the nouns they are modifying!

- Some colors are invariable: its form is the same in masculine and feminine.
Color the pieces the colors indicated. Cut out the pieces and glue them to your notebook to create a scene with a house and a rainbow. Color, cut out and use the "Los Colores" tag to label your page (student side).
