- We use gustar to talk about things you like.
- When you want to talk about things that people like, change the form of gustar to match the singular or plural nouns for those things.
- “Me gusta…” and “A mí me gusta…” both mean I like, but we say “A mí me gusta…” to:
- 1) add emphasis or
- 2) clarify that we are talking about ourselves (and not somebody else).
*Use the verb encantar to say what someone does or does not love (not used with people).
- Example: I love to walk = Me encanta caminar
- You love books = Te encantan los libros
