Today we will go over our final exam format and complete two practice assessments.
Spanish I final exam, will be completed in the format of a portfolio. You will complete five tasks in order to complete the final portfolio. These tasks are reading, listening, speaking, writing, and your Interactive Notebook.
2. Reading assessment: you will receive a printed copy of the Test, you will read the text in Spanish carefully; go to canvas and answer the questions.
3. Listening assessment: you will listen to two recordings in Spanish and respond questions about it; go to canvas and answer the questions.

· Try to write your ideas in Spanish.
· Use the grammar and vocabulary that you know.

· Put yourself in your reader’s place to determine if your writing is interesting.
AVOID
· Translating your ideas from English to Spanish.

· Using a dictionary until you have learned how to use foreign language dictionaries
1) Writing: Correo electrónico (30 min)
Task: Write an E-mail in paragraph form about you in Spanish.Include the following information:
1. Talk about yourself. Tell me your name , age, birthday. Describe yourself psychically and personality.
2. Talk about what you like yo do and what you don't like.
3. Talk about Your family. Mention at least three family members and describe them physically and their personality. Tell me at least three likes and three dislikes. Tell me their age and their relationship to you.
4. Tell me at least 3 things you have to do ( tener + infinitive) and 3 things your favorite family member has to do ( tener + infinitive)
5. what classes do you have? Describe all classes and tell me what do you need for each class.

- Take your time-remember, you play it several times.
- You will be given five minutes to read the questions. During this time you may write vocabulary words, verbs, etc., on your paper but you may not write sentences. You can not use your computer or any other device during this time.
- You must use COMPLETE SENTENCES in SPANISH in your description, meaning that you must have a subject AND a verb for each sentence.
- You will be given 15 minutes to record yourself on vocaroo.com. I will tell you when you can open your computer. When finished, TURN IT into canvas and close your computer.
